Novel influenza H3N8 virus your hearing about it in the news and if your dog lives in NY,PA,CO,FL, or NJ it is a threat to them.  High risk pets include those that live in shelters, adoption groups, pet stores or race, attend doggy day care, grooming salons, shows or travel with owners.  So you can see this includes a large number of our friends.  The symptoms include soft gagging cough, fever, sneezing, nasal discharge and lethargy.  All of these symptoms typically occur within a week of exposure.  Any dog any age is susceptible to this virus. We have vaccine in stock and it requires 2 injections the initial one is followed by a booster in 4 weeks and then yearly boosters.
